Inside the EpoxyArt studio

People often ask what happens between a clear cup of resin and a finished tray, coaster, or tabletop. The short answer is patience, a steady pour, and a studio that is already set up when you walk in.

We start with colour. Pigments, inks, and sometimes a little gold leaf are mixed in small batches so the tone stays even. Then we pour in layers: a base, a wave or river line, and a clear coat that locks the pattern in place. No two pours settle the same way, which is why every piece from EpoxyArt looks slightly different.

In the studio

Workshops follow the same path. You choose a mould, we help with ratios and timing, and you leave with a piece you made yourself. Beginners are welcome — the tools, resin, and finishing steps are prepared in advance so you can focus on the making.

After the resin cures, we sand through the grits and polish until the surface is smooth enough for daily use. A soft cloth is enough for care. Keep pieces away from very hot pans and harsh midday sun, and they will keep their gloss for years.
